Hey Baby Studios specializes in newborn photography, baby milestone photography, cake smash portraits, 1st-year photography, and family photography. Amber started her local newborn photography business in 2012 and hasn’t been able to put the camera down since! Having 5 kids of her own she loves to photograph the beginning stages of a child’s life and understands the importance of documenting those first few years. Amber specializes in newborn posing and knows the importance of making sure the newborn is comfortable and safe.


Hey Baby Studios has a gorgeous photography studio located in Junction City, Oregon filled with fun and sweet props, outfits, and gowns for our client’s use.     Booking newborn portraits is a way to preserve those fleeting precious memories, a way to remember those tiny toes, squishy wrinkles, and pouty little lips. These images will be looked back on when your baby is all grown and perhaps has babies of their own. 


    Newborn portraits are best taken between 7-21 days old, but please do not wait to contact us about booking as we usually book out months in advance. The best time to contact us about booking is in your 2nd trimester of pregnancy.

  • Terms & Conditions:

    Session retainer fee is due at the time of booking and is completely non-refundable.

The Process

1st- Decide if Hey Baby Studios is right for your family.

  • Check out our work and packages. Feel free to reach out, let’s chat. Once you decide and are ready to book, just the session fee is due at the time of booking.
  • I only book a limited number of sessions each month to ensure I save time for those babies that decide to come early.
  • Pay a session retainer of $100 which goes towards the total session amount. Remainder is due at the time of the session.


2nd - Session Day….

  • Sit back and watch the magic happen!
  • You may be involved as much or as little as you want with set designs, this is YOUR session.
  • For Newborn sessions, reach out within 72 hours of the baby being born so that I can get you on my schedule. I book off of your due date.


3rd - Choose your images and any additional products!

  • Sneak peeks will be posted and a soft proofing gallery will be sent out to you within week or so of session
  • Choose your favorites and finalize your order.
  • Receive final gallery 2 weeks after favorites list is created and shared back to me.
  • Products have their own shipping time frame.
